The Story of  Inside Out

“Inside Out” is an animated movie created by Pixar Animation Studios and released in 2015. The film’s director is Pete Docter, who is also famous for directing “Monsters, Inc.” and “Up.”

In “Inside Out,” the main character is an 11-year-old girl named Riley. Inside Riley’s head lives her five emotions – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear. Each emotion controls one part of Riley’s personality. Joy’s job is to make Riley happy. Sadness seems to always make Riley feel sad. Anger helps Riley feel angry when she needs to. Disgust keeps Riley from eating or touching gross things. Fear’s role is to warn Riley of dangers.
